Release 1

A mostly-faithful (and hence somewhat dated) recreation of the 1984 type-in BASIC game published in Weird Computer Games by Usborne.

The locations and puzzles are the same, but I have fleshed out some of the writing and expanded some options due to the improved parser. And also fixed some bugs from the original.

You find yourself in a familiar yet different place with no immediate recollection of exactly how you got there, and need to determine both where you are and how to return to normality.

Micropuzzle was created with Inform and has IFID 5A9DB5F6-1A3D-4C2E-9AD5-4D70ED603F7D. To play a work like this one, you need an interpreter program: many are available, among them Zoom for Mac OS X and for Unix; Windows Frotz or Windows Glulxe for Windows. The postcard was written by Andrew Plotkin and designed by Lea Albaugh. Or you can play without downloading anything by following the 'Play In-Browser' link, using the Parchment interpreter. You'll need to have Javascript enabled on your web browser.
